The Fort Atkinson Historic Preservation Commission invites the community to make plans to visit Fort Atkinson's historic 1901 water tower. Age and height restrictions apply, for those wishing to ascend the 120 steps to the viewing platform. Climbers must be at least 48 inches tall and 8 years of age. The 1901 water tower is not wheel chair accessible. The tower is located at the corner of South High Street and South 4th Street. Parking is available on South High Street or in the Fort Atkinson Middle School parking lot. Open Houses are held the first Saturday of the month, May - October from 10am - noon.
