Event Description:
Working dogs will be honored at the ceremony. Veteran and current K9s and their handlers will be recognized. A video history of the K9 Veterans Memorial creation and dedication will be shown. The annual event is held to commemorate the sacrifices made by military and working dogs as they protect and serve our nation. The Wisconsin legislature proclaimed March 13 as K9 Veterans Day in 2015.
