Fort Atkinson High School Principal Dan Halvorsen will give an educational update on the new high school schedule, and Madison Area Technical College President Jack E. Daniels will present the Scholars of Promise program at MATC. As part of the Chamber’s strategic initiative, we continue to work on addressing our workforce development and partnering with both the Fort Atkinson School District and Madison Area Technical College.

Bios:
Mr. Daniel Halvorsen has a diverse education experience. He has been a teacher and an associate principal at both the middle and high school levels. Halvorsen has also taught technology education, science for at-risk students, general chemistry, as well as organic/biochemistry.

Dr. Jack E. Daniels has more than 30 years of higher education experience, ranging from community and technical colleges to graduate institutions. His expertise includes strategic and master planning, economic development and community engagement. Dr. Daniels also provides leadership in visioning and guiding initiatives focused on student success.
