The ensemble will perform: Living Room Music by John Cage; Bicksa by Thom Hasenpflug, Whirlwind by David Gillingham and Hurtling Through Space. . . at an unimaginable speed. . .  by David Maslanka. “The performance of Hurtling Through Space. . . at an unimaginable speed is given in memoriam of the life and music of David Maslanka who passed away last August. David’s grace, kindness, and spirit live on through his music. David’s contributions to the repertoire for percussion and many other ensembles will endure for generations to come. His music touched countless people in this world, in very profound ways. . . We miss you David, and are grateful for what you gave the world. . . R.I.P.”
