YOGA WITH CATS AT THE HUMANE SOCIETY OF JEFFERSON COUNTY
 
 
The Humane Society of Jefferson County is pleased to offer the fall session of ?Yoga With Cats?, with classes on Sundays, September 10 & 24, October 8 & 22 and November 5 & 19.  All classes take place from noon ? 1:00 p.m. in the shelter?s Community Education Room. Each class is limited to 30 participants (no spectators please) and attendees must sign up in advance. Please call the shelter at 920-674-2048 or send an e-mail to slastusky@hsjc-wis.com to register. Also, please note that due to insurance/liability issues, participants must be at least 18 years of age. 
 
Yoga with cats, or cat yoga, has become a popular fitness trend throughout the United States.  Participants at the HSJC?s ?Yoga With Cats? session will enjoy all the benefits of a typical yoga class, with several shelter cats in attendance modeling flexibility and fluidity of movement.  Of course, cats have minds of their own, so one of the feline yogis may just curl up on your mat for a quick nap!  Of course, all of the feline participants are available for adoption.  Yoga enthusiasts and animal lovers are encouraged to bring their own yoga mats and join in for this fun and furry hour of health and wellness. There is no fee to attend but monetary donations are greatly appreciated.
