Citizens for Strong Fort Schools Joins Fort Atkinson Area Chamber of Commerce

March 26, 2024

The Fort Atkinson Area Chamber of Commerce welcomed Citizens for Strong Fort Schools as members this week. The organization is composed of community members, teachers past and present, parents, business owners, SDFA graduates, and others who understand and support the School District of Fort Atkinson’s staff and their tireless efforts to provide for all children.

The group focuses on the continual collaboration and teamwork that happens every single day in schools. Part of their mission is to disseminate information about the school district and the upcoming referendum, and promote the district and its achievements, while boosting the community. Citizens for Strong Fort Schools operates on the belief that strong schools deliver significant benefits to a community, which results in a strong environment for local businesses.

“Our school leadership in Fort is strong and unified to provide the best environment for our kids to succeed. They can only accomplish their goals with the support from everyone in our community, exemplifying the definition of public schools. Schools are the heart of healthy communities,” said Justin Steger, active member of Citizens for Strong Fort Schools.
