Wisconsin Farm Technology Days, Inc.  Announces 2021 and 2022 Show Locations

Wisconsin Farm Technology Days, Inc. (WFTD) has announced that the 2021 show will be held at the Jefferson County Fair Park and the 2022 show will be held in Clark County. The show, which is the largest outdoor farm show in Wisconsin, is proud to continue the 60 year plus tradition.

There were two sites under consideration to host the 2021 show, the Iola Old Car Show Grounds located in Iola, WI and the Jefferson County Fair Park located on the Northwest edge of the city of Jefferson.  Both sites offered spacious grounds for the commercial and education portions of the show, as well as nearby farmland for the popular field demonstrations. The 2021 show, tentatively scheduled for the last week in July will be unique in that unlike past shows that were organized and run by host counties, the Jefferson show will be conducted by Wisconsin Farm Technology Days, Inc., the statewide organization. According to Matt Glewen, WFTD General Manager, “we greatly appreciate the interest and cooperation from Iola Car Show leaders and look forward to working with them again in the future if the opportunity arises”.

The show will return to a county-hosted show with its move to Clark County in 2022. Dates have yet to be established.

The 2019 Wisconsin Farm Technology Days will be held in Jefferson County July 23-25 at Walter Grain Farms, Johnson Creek.  The Walter family, who also hosted the show in 1984, have been an instrumental piece of the planning for the show that will be run by over 1,200 Jefferson County volunteers.

“Although the organization of the show in 2021 will run differently it is still a great honor to have it return to Jefferson County." Said Amy Listle, Marketing/Administrative Assistant of the Jefferson County Fair Park.  The Jefferson County Fair Park is home to over 200 events year-round. “Several events are similar in size to the amount of attendance that Farm Technology Days will bring, such as, the County Fair and Madison Classics Car Shows.” said Listle.

The 2020 show will be held in Eau Claire County July 21-23 at the Silver Springs Horse Radish Farms located just south of the city of Eau Claire.
